Stacy & Josh's Wedding

I received Stacy and Josh's invitation to their wedding and I was thrilled. Yes, because I was excited to see my friends get married, but mostly because of two words: Casual Dress. The wedding was going to be luau themed! I called Stacy to make sure.

Me: When you say "casual dress" do you mean button shirt and dress pants, or do you mean Hawaiian shirt and shorts?
Stacy: Hawaiian shirt and shorts would be AWESOME.
Me: Alright, pumped as hell!

Julie and I got there a tad late. (as usual)

We ended up getting a lot of pictures of the backs of people's heads.

See?

Ah, there they are!

Okay, off to the reception area. First stop: the bar. They had three themed drinks to choose from: Mojitos, Margaritas, and Pina Coladas. Every mojito I've ever had tasted like rye bread, and this one was no different.

The wedding was at a golf course, so they had a decorated golf cart they rode in on.

First dance with the bride and groom.

I kinda wish people lifted me up in a chair at my wedding. It looks kind of fun. I'll do that next time.

Lots of people were dancing. The band was really good, and I'm pretty sure it was the first time I heard Green Day at a wedding.

The cake looked tasty, but I don't remember if we stayed long enough to have any.

They had a woman there that was teaching people to hula dance. For some reason she gave everyone these sticks to bang together.

Two minutes later Big John started yelling, "Stop that, it's annoying!"

She was dressed VERY casually.

Stacy and Josh (not pictured) joined the bands for some songs during the night.
